If I were to be a philosopher , I would coined curriculum as the weapon in education .  "If education is the battlefield, curriculum is its weapon to win the battlefield."  One need to have a proper weapon to win in the battlefield. The best weapon will win the battlefield. In this case, the best planned and the most strategic arranged curriculum, will bring student to excellence in education. Thus, the ministry need to create the best curriculum, so that all Malaysian students can pass with flying colours and excel in education. Throughout my journey as student, I have never wondered who create the curriculum , even the term ‘ curriculum ’ seem unfamiliar to me. After sixteen years of study, after I enrolled in this postgraduate diploma of education, then I learn what the meaning behind ‘ curriculum ’ is. This ten-letter-word seem to hold a very abstract and big meaning in education. Theoretically, curriculum itself have 6 definition. Last week, my group was responsible to present the third definition of curriculum that defined curriculum is  'all planned learnings for which the school is responsible .' Malaysia’s school followed this definition as all schools in Malaysia are using the same syllabus and curriculum according to the Malaysia Ministry of Education (MOE).
