WEEK 4: A.D.D.I.E.

Dear PQI6004,
Hey guys, its D again. Are you guys excited to hear what I’ve learn this week? Hope u are.
This week class is the continuity of the last week topic. Well, last week we learn the elements of the curriculum design. This week, I learn the instructional system design (ISD) . This ISD an organized procedure to improve quality and effectiveness of instructions. ISD includes ADDIE model.
Next, let’s move to the ISD that includes the ADDIE model. What is ADDIE? ADDIE is a mneumonic that composed of;

Analysis . Design . Development. Implementation . Evaluation.

ANALYSIS phase involves the needs, requirements, tasks, and student’s current capabilities

DESIGN phase includes the learning objectives, delivery format, activities and exercise

DEVELOP phase involves prototype creation, development of course materials, review and pilot session.

IMPLEMENT phase includes the training, implementation, tools in place and observation

EVALUATE phase deals with awareness, knowledge, behaviour and results

This model is very important and actually is the foundation of designing curriculum. In order to conduct a class, teachers need to implement ADDIE model in teaching preparation such as preparing the lesson plan. Thus, it is a crucial model that all the excellent teachers all over the world need to conduct a lesson.

Well, this week, the lesson stops until this model. See you next week!
Xoxo, D.
