WEEK 10: TOUCH DOWN & CAN'T WAIT!


Today is the day where I touched down Malaysia through Kuala Lumpur and went back to Johor Bahru. My whole trip has become a history and all the beautiful, historic, beige-colored buildings are stored in my phone memory and my own memory. Surely,  Vienna and Prague are really beautiful.

Eventhough I was on vacation, I did not forget to keep updating and finished my assignments including the curriculum assignments. Since my part was okay and did not need any improvement, I had fully focused my time on the lesson plan assignment. Everyday, after finishing the tour. I will take a bath and have some refreshments and then started working on my assignments. I was thrilled to find that I am actually able to finished the lesson plan assignment in the midst of my vacation.

While I was touring Vienna and Prague I asked my groupmates on what is the topic learned today. They said that this week Dr. Dorothy focused on the to-be-submitted-assignments: the lesson plan and the difference in curriculum. She would comment every groups draft and give them some ideas for improvement. This was what I like about Dr. Dorothy. always doing her best  to assist us. Thankyou Dr😍


As I touched down at KLIA, I missed the tropical weather and the humidity of Malaysia. I cannot wait to comeback at UM and slurping all the knowledge that were to be given by all the excellent and great lecturers.

Dear PQI6004 The whole DPP semester is 12-week long and this is my eleventh entry which means that next week is the last class for us. I was terribly thrilled when they, my friends said that there will be a small feast on the 12th week of the semester. I can't wait to wait for that moment. WEEK 6: DIFFERENT MODELS OF INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN

It has been the 6 th week of my DPP study, and I’m starting to understand every subjects that I have learn including you, PQI6004. In today class, Dr. Dorothy discussed the answer to the previous assignment. Out of 100, I get a 75%. Thank you Dr. Dorothy for assessing and evaluate my answer. Overall, Dr Dorothy said that my answer was good and I have considered the learner’s analysis. From her comment, perhaps, I think I have captured the main points of the Analysis phase in A.D.D.I.E. Model. After discussing the answer with the whole class, Dr. Dorothy continued the lessons with the Gagne’s 9 Events of Instruction. In this context, Dr. Dorothy taught us on how to create a lesson plan based on this model. In my opinion, Gagne’s 9 Events of Instruction is a very complete model. WEEK 7 : DR. DOROTHY REFLECTION ON OUR ASSIGNMENT

Dear PQI6004, Entering the 7 th week of me exploring the curriculum design subject. As weeks passed, day by day, I think that I have captured the gist of this subject. In my last blog, I’ve told you about the mid-term assignment on creating a lesson plan. I have created a lesson plan of a cell biology topic, mitosis. I’ve hoped to use this created lesson plan during my microteaching for PQI6023 : Cell Biology. This week, as usual, Dr. Dorothy started the lesson with the discussion on our lesson plan. She gave us the general comment. For this lesson plan assignment, I get 80/100. Dr Dorothy comments on my lesson plan are as below: Not enough the high-order learning outcome since the learners are form 4 student There are no questions included in the lesson plan Thank you Dr. Dorothy for the comment.
